Welcome to JMs whistleblowing function
It's important that you leave as much information as possible.
It's recommended that your report includes the following information:
- What kind of irregularity you want to report.
- Where these have occured.
- When it happened. Date, time and if it has been reoccurring.
- Who or whom was involved.
- Optional contact information (Your name, phone number, e-mail address)
- Documentation in any form if you have access to it, or if you know that there is documentation and if so, what and where.
- Information about other actions taken in response to the irregularaties.
It's important that you read and understand how personal data are handled in the section "Data protection" before you leave your report.
What can be reported?
A whistleblowing function is for reporting serious irregularities or abuses at a workplace or in an organization concerning:
- Illegal activities.
- Financial fraud (e.g., false accounting, violation of internal control procedures, embezzlement).
- Bribes or corruption.
- Conflicts of interest.
- Serious impacts on the lives and health of individuals.
- Serious impacts on JM's vital interests.
The whistleblowing function does not cover, for example, bullying, alcohol or drug problems, less serious issues related to the working environment, or other issues that must be reported and handled via JM's regular reporting routines.
Who can be reported?
Under current legislation, certain criteria must be met for someone to qualify as capable of being reported in a whistleblowing function.
It is only possible to report persons in leading positions or in key positions within JM.
How your report is handled:
- All incoming cases are handled promptly by the company Interactive Security, acting as an external agent for JM's whistleblowing function.
- All complaints receive a unique case number and a verification code. This information is used to submit additional information and learn case status.
- Any new complaint received by Interactive Security is immediately anonymised. This is to ensure that the complainant remains anonymous to JM.
- Interactive Security conducts an initial assessment of the case to determine whether it qualifies to be handled by the whistleblowing function.
- The anonymised case is then reported to JM, who decide whether the complaint will be investigated or not.
Phone calls with Interactive Security are completely confidential and are not recorded.
Interactive Security does not record any IP addresses.
